Heaven’s Door

Small shadow figures live inside the thickness of a door: a comet, a swallow in flight, an olive branch, a vase almost resting on the ground.
They keep us company during the day when we can barely glimpse them, and in the evening when we turn on the light they become almost real.
If we get used to their company, after a while we can't do without them.
They speak to us of the kindness of living and of the light dreams of summer; at night they sleep with all the other inhabitants of the house and then return to smile at us silently in the morning.
