Stadium El Molinón
El Molinón, one of Spain’s historic soccer stadiums, underwent a renovation project coordinated by Procoin, with Tensoforma responsible for the engineering and production of the architectural elements.
The project required careful integration with the existing structure, preserving its identity while improving the usability of the spaces. Particular attention was devoted to optimizing crowd flows, route safety, and spectator comfort.
Tensoforma developed lightweight modular systems, designed to ensure construction precision, ease of installation, and long-term durability. Prefabrication of the elements reduced on-site work and limited interference with the stadium’s normal activities.
High-performance materials and tailor-made technical solutions produced components consistent with the architectural language of the venue, capable of combining efficiency, speed of execution, and visual quality. The project highlights Tensoforma’s approach to designing for sports venues: a balance of functional requirements, engineering rigor, and attention to the user experience.
