The project develops an essential, innovative architectural language, moving beyond the rigidity of orthogonal facades through an oblique composition of tensioned elements. The Texo system makes it possible to achieve a visually lightweight envelope, characterized by inclined surfaces and varied geometries that lend depth and movement.

Each module consists of a perimeter aluminum frame clad with ATEX 3000 fiberglass-and-silicone membrane, chosen for its high mechanical performance, translucency, and long-term resistance. The panels were pre-assembled in the factory in order to precisely control the pre-tensioning of the membrane and ensure consistent quality.

Mounting on the aluminum substructures was engineered with expansion joints and gaskets capable of absorbing deformations, ensuring watertightness and stability. The surface responds to changes in natural light, generating a continuous interplay of shadows, reflections, and transparencies.

The result is an envelope that is sensitive to its context and in constant transformation, combining technological research, construction precision, and Italian design culture, giving Shanghai a recognizable, contemporary architectural identity.
